I'm not going to say too much, but because I honor Michael Moore's mission of exposing the truth with compassion and humor, I make it a habit of going to see his movies on opening day. (here's the trailer)
Yesterday, I went to see 'Sicko', Moore's non-partisan expose of the health insurance industry in the U.S. It wasn't so much of an expose as a compassionate observation and one man's heartfelt attempt to understand why the United States, one of the wealthiest countries in the world, takes such poor care of her citizens when it comes to health care. I laughed, I cried, I was outraged. This is an important film that every U.S. citizen should see.
All I can say is PLEASE, go see this movie, and I would love to hear what you have to say about it. I know it's controversial, I know it's biased, but no matter what, it will make you think.
Where can you see Sicko? Type in your zip code and find a theater.
